Publish the ranking rules before week one
Standings fights are usually about tie-breakers nobody wrote down. Decide in advance: wins first, then winning percentage, then point differential—or whatever your sport tradition uses—and put it on the league site.
What Leagzr computes today
- Wins, losses, ties, games played.
- Points (or goals) for and against from final scores.
- Winning percentage: (wins + 0.5 × ties) / games played.
- Sort: most wins, then higher winning percentage, then team name.
That is a transparent rec-league table. If your sport body mandates extra tie-breakers (head-to-head, fair play points), document them for captains even when the software table uses the built-in order.
Integrity is data entry
Standings are only as honest as the scores you confirm. Live scoring helps fans; a recorded final is what should move the table. Dispute processes belong in your house rules, not in a screenshot argument.

- Teams are ranked by wins, then winning percentage (ties count as half a win), then team name. Each completed game updates points for and against.
- Do ties count?
- Yes. Tied games increment both teams’ tie totals and count toward games played. They are not ignored or treated as errors.
